My video pick - Week 21

Erm my people! How una dey?
I bring this fine one come all the way from Naija :)
Here's the trailer for "Two brides and a baby"
No exaggerating though, it looks very promising.

Mehn seriously, I'm so proud of Nollywood right now. This is so on point. Right from the poster, to the story, to the visuals, to the cast,  mehn! this is classy! I just wish I could watch it right away. #Can't wait
Kudos to Blessing Effiom Egbe, the creative brain behind the story line and to the amazing prowess of Teco Benson, this is definitely a must watch, certified by me.
But why not? Just imagine that combination now  :)

Have a good weekend everyone!

  1. Judging by the trailer it may well be a 'good', film even though I lost faith with Nollywood many years ago for its refusal to grow up. Maybe they're finally trying to do so!

  2. the picture quality and story seem good but i feel the acting is not passable, i hope they grow (acting wise) ...

  3. I also hope to see this movie, the trailer looks great, and there was a promo video a while back.

  4. nollywood is coming up....i hope. but this movie looks good.i saw the making of the movie a while back and think its going to be good.

  5. @Naija4life, I know right?
@Anon, Well, I don't see anything wrong with the acting really. Anyway, we have to wait for the full movie before saying everything with a certainty.
@Myne Whitman, Yea that was for the "Behind the scenes". I hope the movie can reach those of us outside Nigeria soonest
@Stelzz, From all indications, it looks very promising.

  6. I reserve my comment oh

I cannot count the number of times, I have sat down to watch a Naija movie and come away feeling I have wasted 2 precious hours out of my life.

In short, when the credits start rolling at the end of the film - and they show the ubiquitous 'To God Be The Glory' - all I can say is 'Yes, Thank God, I havent lost the will to live' LOL

I hope this is different sha

  7. well,I hope I enjoy this one even though I already sawthe trailer on seshe james blog, abge there should be no juju or mama G

  13. Thanks for your comment on my blog. Nice blog..bookmarking it. God bless

  14. Hahaha @N.I.L, I know that feeling. I've had it so many times. The difference however is that, most times I don't make it to that cliched end. I try to maximize every second, as soon as I discover it is an effing time waster :)
@Gretel, I'm ROTFL. What's your issue with MamaG tho? I think the 'juju thing' annoys me more than you though. I just want to scream at the director, whenever I encounter it in any production.
@Enybee, and thank you for taking the time to come around mine too. No problem, see more of you around then :)

Thanks everyone for stopping by. I'm most grateful

  15. The trailer is awesome and I will love to see the movie. If You say it`s great then I don`t doubt your judgement.Kudos to the nollywood.
