Another birthday is almost here and that means 30 is just around the corner Whoop Whoop!
I remember I have been counting down to 30 since I was 20 not kidding.
2. Learn another language
3. Marry your soul mate
4. Improve on your first degree (get another - Masters? Specialize?)
5. Publish your own book
6. Mentor/Train someone to achieve their own dreams
7. Travel to more parts of Africa, Europe, America, Asia
8. Travel to Paris with your soul mate
9. Change a baby's diaper with a straight face
10. Save! Save! Save!
Number 9 should have read 'have your own baby' 'cause it's just the solution ;)
Meanwhile, I know this is already coming as a shock as people usually categorize me as a teenager or at most, early 20s. Stop eet!
I never look my age so I have given up on trying to explain to people. Most times, I prefer when people do not even ask me because it's like you tell them your age and they go "whoa. You're kidding right?" And then you have to go through that process of having to convince people that you really will not see any need to fake your age. Phew! Now life is easy. I do it like everyone. "A 20 something year old lady" *drops mic*
Not acting like you have something to hide. I used to say my age like 'what's your name?' 'Where are you from?' 'How old are you?'
So you see now, I have joined the plenty Nigerian ladies that will hide their age as a dirty linen.
Thanks everyone for all the love and support in 2014 (and over the years)
It's my birthday in a few hours. I need to get off before I start getting emotional on you guys.
I am so grateful to God for all his blessings.
I will see y'all in 2015! May the new year bring good tidings xx
P.s. Everyone participating in the '14 for 14 challenge' should have 14 posts at the end of today and not 13. So far, we are doing fine, as one day is sufficient to throw in the last post for anyone still missing that. I will come back with the final details soon.
